Akron Linux Users Group (a Sig of ADG) was started back in 1995 and first meet at Andrew's Brews that later became an Internet cafe called Coffee Configurations.
The Akron Digital Group showed some interest in the Linux Operating System, and had a few scheduled talks on the subject. After those few talks there was enough interest in Linux to start a separate group.
Our group has been meeting on the 1st Thursday of each month for the formal meetings and on the 3rd Thursday for the informal meetings.
To keep up on the meeting events, meeting notices are sent out to the alug mailing list.
